Very very interested to see these, US military spending could be the key to getting SABRE engines in the air sooner rather than later. Something tells me that the BAE investment will pay off handsomely just on the pre cooler technology alone...

That's superb, the technology in that engine is astounding.

Look forward to seeing if the SHARP effort from Wickman aerospace gets rolled out for the crafts skins. A perfect marriage right there!

Not to be a downer but the article is a year old and, "AFRL officials told Space.com that there are no specific plans at this time for flight tests."
