Thanks Hesham. Nice looking bird.

The name is odd for an aircraft design originating in New York. Is there some other, obscure meaning to 'Canuck' in American usage?

A minor note: The title should be Schmaling Aircraft Laboratories S-21 Canuck Monoplane Model after Clinton A. Schmaling.

Here is one of Clinton Schmaling's earlier patents: http://www.google.com/patents/US1831253

Thank you my dear Apophenia,

and great find.
