Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project that involves designing sheet metal parts and had a few questions about best practices.

Specifically, I’m curious about the ideal bend radius for different materials to prevent cracking and whether there are any general guidelines for hole placement relative to bends.

Also, does anyone have tips for minimizing distortion during the manufacturing process?

I’d appreciate any advice, resources, or lessons learned from your experience.

This is my first deep dive into sheet metal design, so I’m eager to learn from those with more expertise!
