SeaStryder 6000,a new concept for seaplane

Wonder what happens when the leading edge/apex of the wing digs in.
 
I think the only reason the model shown in the video is able to land without digging in the leading edge is because the tandem wing configuration places the front wing well ahead of the c.g. It would be interesting to see this in any sort of waves.
 
I guess the pilot would do his pre-flight inspection in scuba gear.
