Great find Triton!!!! :D

I also remember a ACRV mock-up realized by NASA in early '90s.
Crude, minimal but highly practical approach to the manned reentry theme.

From what I've read the ACRV would have subjected the crew to high g loads, I don't know if that's why NASA went on to pursue other concepts for crew recovery?
