Here is a retractable float jet fighter,assigned to Saunders-Roe,it looks
like SARO P.121.

Here are two images of the Saro P.121, with ski extended and retracted, from Putnam's 'Saunders & Saro', pp. 319-20.
Thinks...I wonder if there was any technical exchange between Saro and Convair on the subject of hydroskis?

Quite an interesting remark, considering Saro and Convair embarked in a very close working relationship circa 1955-57 over the secret "Nuclear Princess" program for the U.S. Navy.

It's actually a good visualisation of the principle covered in that patent. The aircraft shown, nevertheless
is just a notional type, I think, with vague similarities to the P.121 only

Indeed, if anything it looks more like a Crusader/Sea Dart mashup, typical magazine illustrator stuff.
