In the photo, it looks as if the outer side of the right-hand body is gray and the inside of the left-side body is primed metal. So what is there could be an antenna farm.Another point is that they are not apparently doing this for aerodynamic/structural reasons because whatever they gain from distributed loading/high AR will be lost on the weight and wetted area of the monster vertical tails.
