Hi,

as I heard it was a little known Finland airplane, designed by Sääski,Osakethtio in 1928,
and it was a two-seat biplane for wheels, skis or floats which was convertible for ambulance
work, also developed into a cabin type.

This company formed to built VL or IVL Sääski aircraft, and was not a branch of it.

The VL Sääski (Mosquito) biplane trainer was designed by Kurt Berger and Asser Järvinen in the Fall of 1927 for the development firm, Osakeyhtiö Sääski. Osakeyhtiö Sääski just means Sääski Company (but note spelling - Osakeyhtiö not 'Osakethtio').

Built variants were as follows:

Nyrkki-Sääski - 1928 1st prototype, K-SASA/SÄ-95
Sääski II - Production type, greater span, enlarged tailfin
- Sääski II: aka I-sarjan (Series I), SÄ-113-SÄ-117
Sääski IIA - Larger wing type (beginning with SÄ-127)
- Sääski II: aka II-sarjan (Series II), SÄ-127-SÄ-148
Sääski III - 2-seat variant, ambulance conversion
Sääski IV - Single prototype with different wings
- Sääski IV: SÄ-120, converted to Sääski II, Aug 1935
