I was watching a video about the M1 Component Advanced Technology Testbed (CATTB), and found mention of a Multisensor Target Acquisition System (MTAS) using Millimeter Wave Radar, Infrared and other sensors to detect targets in a Battlefield obscured by smoke or other detection inhabiting phenomena. Unfortunately I don't have access to the sources cited in the video and wanted to ask if someone here knows more about it.

first image is from skylancer's online archive on defense magazines, the image is from IDR 1988-12 specifically:

link to skylancer's great archive if you don't have it:

The other 2 are part of an ad archived by USAHEC:

https://emu.usahec.org/alma/multimedia/984719/20181815MN006690.pdf [SUMMARY] MULTISENSOR TARGET ACQUISITION SYSTEM // Coloured Rockwell international MTAS Brochure

I can give you another ad on MTAS:

Additionally theres a study on MTAS: Multi-target acquisition fire control simulation Michael J. Krok

If you know where to pirate studies ( which is morally dubious ), remove the - between Multi-target and you should get access to the study, using the doi or just copy and pasting the title won't work

All of these from my bookmarks, and I believe I might have more, just too lazy to search. You should probably search through Skylancers archives for more info, 100% sure I found more there.
:)
P.S: Also this thread, View: https://x.com/skylancer7441/status/1219053635725864961

Also, I forgot, this and this:

Advanced infrared sensors and radar systems for tactical target acquisition 1977 study for STARTLE radar, either pay or pirate.
