Dear All,

Most sad to relate, Robert C. Mikesh passed this morning, just shy of his 95th birthday, according to his son Chris Mikesh.

For anyone with an interest in Japanese aviation, the name of Robert Mikesh needs no introduction. News of his passing has already circulated within the IPMS modeling fraternity, and on Facebook, I imagine, of which I am not a member.

I shall endeavor to post more on Bob Mikesh soon. But, for now, I just wanted to get the word out to the J-Aircraft community.
