Navy tests artificial intelligence against supersonic missiles
The Royal Navy is using artificial intelligence for the first time at sea in a bid to defeat missile attacks.

HMS Dragon and HMS Lancaster are testing the Startle and Sycoiea tools during exercise Formidable Shield - Startle helps analyze the air picture, while Sycoiea helps identify missiles and recommends the weapons to engage them with.
HMS Argyll is also along for the ride, but she's testing upgraded software and new tactics for getting the best from Artisan and Sea Ceptor.
