Hi folks,
Don't think this one has appeared here before - if it has, let me know and I'll remove it. I put this this under 'Theoretical and Speculative' because it seems very much from the Colani (or Bauhaus) school of "looks quite nice but please don't try to build one" design concepts.
Anyway, this is a 2009 design for a solar-powered airship / sailboat from Renault, called the "Zep'lin" and due to one Damien Grossemy.

I post this partly for our esteemed colleague Tophe: as the Zep'lin has a propellor that swings from side to side with sails acting as counterweights, it would be (at least some of the time) an asymmetrical design.
