While browsing through magazines I came across an issue of the Italian AeroFan with this unknown project for a three-engined high-altitude bomber, the Guidonia I, studied in 1938 by the Regia Aeronautica's DSSE (Divizione Superiore Studi e Esperienze). According to the article, the design briefly took part in the official 1938 medium bomber competition against the projects of established companies such as Caproni's Ca.320 and 325/bis, Savoia-Marchetti's SM-89, FIAT-Aeritalia's BR.30, Breda's Ba 99 and Macchi's MC 300, although as part of a "second list" of "outsiders", along with the Cant Z. 1018.
