Right. Because radio communications were *really* at the very engineering heart of getting humans to the Moon, rather than liquid rockets...

As an *actual* aerospace engineer (as in propulsion, structures, aero[thermo]/orbital dynamics), I am *almost* equally amused and appalled by the nerdy mindset that wrangling wayward electrons was the *one* crucial technology that enabled humanity to reach the nearest celestial body.
