This model was built by Walter K. Hansen in 1929, at the Navy Yard Facility, and this model was also tested between 1938-1941 at the David Taylor Model Basin, located near Washington DC. This model was decommissioned and acquired by Bernard Tabarini, who worked for Hansen at both locations.
