Hi! I believe that the 1st and the 2ND pictures are Mitsubishi's or Fuji's plan for T-4 trainer.
The 3rd picture is Fuji's or Mitsubishi's plan for T-4 trainer. ;D
Other pictures are Kawasaki's T-4 initial plan with F-18 like LERX.

the Kawasaki KA840 was the first proposal for this competition,it had a low-wing later developed
into KA850,which became T-4.

Do we have info on the KA860? High bypass under wing engines sounds interesting. Also the 850 obviously became the XT-4, but did the other two designs go anywhere past the drawing board?

Maybe not necessarily "T-4 data" but still a relevant data. Seems like the F3 engine for T-4 was only manufactured until 2003 (Heisei 15). Other sources mentions that the final aircraft was delivered on 6th of March and it seems like that's correct.

TIT of F3 was 1,050℃. F3 after its development was also used as a testbed for developing Japanese aero gas turbine technologies, and the key programme was developing improved iterations of the engine with improved TIT. XF3-400, also equipped with AB, achieved 1,400℃ as shown in the chart.

T-4s were also regularly used to collect radioactive dusts resulting from NK nuclear test programme that would flow into SoJ. The pod itself is called "Meteorological Collector Type 2" and is carried on either the T-4 or F-4EJ. It's basically a huge vacuum cleaner. Wonder if they still use them. Industry workshare for the T-4. K stands for KHI, F for Subaru (then FHI) and M for MHI.




Interestingly, composite strucuture application was mainly done on the horizontal and vertical tails of the T-4. T-2 CCV and T-4 were the direct precursor programmes when it comes to Japanes application of their composite technology in aircraft structures, so it's rather surprising to see that it wasn't MHI (who developed the F-2 cocured composite wing) that was in charge of the T-4 composite structures but KHI and FHI.

I'd be shocked if they didn't. Probably strapped on the centerline pylon of an F-2 or F-15J these days.
