Do we have info on the KA860? High bypass under wing engines sounds interesting. Also the 850 obviously became the XT-4, but did the other two designs go anywhere past the drawing board?
I'd be shocked if they didn't. Probably strapped on the centerline pylon of an F-2 or F-15J these days.T-4s were also regularly used to collect radioactive dusts resulting from NK nuclear test programme that would flow into SoJ. The pod itself is called "Meteorological Collector Type 2" and is carried on either the T-4 or F-4EJ. It's basically a huge vacuum cleaner. Wonder if they still use them.
