Does anybody have a drawing or picture of the american RAT anti submarine rocket mounting?
I think it was attached to a 5 inch twin gun turret?

Does anybody know if it was also attached to the single 5 inch turret?

Thanks

The best I could find is the photo of DD-727 DeHaven from http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WAMUS_ASW.htm
In Bill Gunstons "Enzyklopädie der Raketen & Lenkwaffen" there's a photo of a RAT launch, but the launcher isn't really recognisable, not even in the blow-up. A drawing of RAT itself is shown in Kroulik/Ruzicka "Vojenské Rakety"

Hi
This one is from an old Polish book "Rakiety bojowe" (Combat Rockets)

At some point there was to be a standalone launcher. I don't know if it was ever fully defined; it is present on a number of proto-Long-Beach sketches in Friedman's Cruisers.
