Q.8/37 gunnery practice target seaplanes for the Royal Navy

Anyone got anymore info on this pair.

A 3-view of each would be really nice, but ain't holding my breath on that.

The Percival contenders for Q.8/37 radio-controlled target competition were the P.21 and P.21A (the former being a mid-wing aircraft while the latter being a shoulder-wing one).

At least one source lists the P.22 as a contender for the same spec but it is most likely a mistake since the P.22 and P.23/A/B appear in reliable sources as communications aircraft.

Fairey company involved in this tender,who can send a drawing to Fairey
proposal ?.

Under the entry for Q.8/37 it lists submissions from Airspeed (AS.37), Percival (P.21, P.21a and P.22) and General Aircraft (GAL.35).

This radio controlled target seaplane project, designed to Spec. Q.8/37 (Operational Requirement OR.48) and meant as a Queen Bee replacement, was a mid-wing monoplane of unusual configuration: it featured a single float, a pylon mounted engine and its cockpit was completely integrated to the engine pylon.
