I came across this phrase recently:
" The first nuclear demolition charge to be developed in the UK was BLUE PEACOCK, based on the Air Ministry warhead BLUE DANUBE. The design of this weapon was completed, but in 1957 it was recognised that BLUE DANUBE would be obsolete by 1959 and discontinued in 1961. Moreover the size and weight of BLUE PEACOCK were severe disadvantages and it was decided in 1958 not to produce it but to study its successor VIOLET MIST at priority UA."
