Recently found some G-ALUN's photos in the process of construction while browing (image 1 to image 5), two labeled images (image1 and image2) caught my eye, as the description says the powerplants applied were 4*proteus 710 (coupled) and 2*proteus 700... However, wikipedia told me that it was 4*proteus 610 (coupled) and 2*proteus 620 that provided thrust for the plane (image 6).
Later, I went through Flight archive and found two pieces of relative material, one from 1952 (image 7) and one in 1955 (image 8). The first one was written before its first test flight, saying it 'would be' powered by proteus 2 (600 series) and the second piece said it was powered by a set of 'Under-rated and experimental' version of proteus 3 (700 series). I personally tend to the second version (experimental proteus 3) but can't be confident. Can anyone here offer some evidence?
