I am not a fan of ATL. scenarios but found this article in a 1946 issue of ATC. Gazette proposing a 'World Organisation' 'International Air Force' of interest.
Who knows such an idea may have led to a UN. with teeth and negated the need for organisations such as NATO. etc.
