Does anyone have any references to the "Popeye" sensor that was part of the Brilliant Pebbles efforts? None of the references I have mention it, but it is mentioned in passing here:

I *suspect* that it was the multi-focal-plane CCD-based system that Wood talks about on occasion, but I suppose it could also be the LIDAR system they added later in the system's evolution.
