In today's update on Poland buying everything under the sun....

22 x AW101 in troop carrying configuration...

2 x A330 MRTT....this appears to be seperate from the Multinational Fleet...

2 Additional Squadrons of multi-role combat aircraft (could be F-35, F-16 or ...see Typhoons presentation slides later...).

2 x Saab 340 Erieye AEW...presumably these are on loan from Sweden to prepare Poland for GlobalEye...

And of course the Saab GlobalEye order, which will be at least 2 aircraft...

The joint UK/Poland Future Common Missile was also on a slide but has been removed from the collection..

Just to note, there seems to be some confusion on the Saab Erieye....the Swedish won't be getting their GlobalEye until 2027 so people are doubtful its from there...or if its even a loan...(can't imagine Poland would buy the 340 Erieye instead of GlobalEye as the advantages from the Bizjet platform in terms of range and altitude are huge).

EDIT - Tony Osborne points out that the UAE may have 2 going spare now they're receiving GlobalEye...

In regards to the GlobalEye, how does it compare to the E-7?
these seem to be the only two western AWACS in production, alongside the E-2.

could not find any specific data other than the basic things such as the GlobalEye being smaller, likely more cheaper to operate, and potentially less range. Also has 5 less crew?

You could add in the Israeli Gulfstream G550 based Eitam as well. In service with Israel, Italy, Singapore, Morocco and the US Navy (for range control work).

There's also the G550 based Israeli CAEW, as timmymagic says, though that now relies on used G550s. Italy has bought several G550 for conversion to ISR aircraft, & IIRC two are being converted to additional CAEW.

It's not in production, but there's a new Israeli AEW aircraft being marketed, the P600 AEW, with a new radar on the Embraer Praetor 600. It's being offered to Brazil as a replacement for its Erieyes. Of course, SAAB has a rival proposal.

The Praetor 600 is much smaller than the G550 or Bombardier 6000/6500, & the radar looks smaller. Presumably has less power, given the smaller, lower-powered platform.

Considering G550 conversions makes sense in light of this type already being in VIP service. That said, GlobalEye ties into the existing relationship with Saab and the airframe still originates with a NATO member.

Anything Praetor 600-based seems less likely. In that case, Poland is going outside of NATO for both electronics and airframe. Not unheard of ... but I do wonder if Warsaw wants to reward a BRICS member right now.
 
and now as I put in the F-15 projects, they are interested in purchasing 32 x F-15EX

It looks like the new equipment is replacing older stuff (which they donate to Ukraine), so it does not necessarily require much additional staffing.

According to recent statements by Chief of the General Staff gen. Wiesław Kukuła, the SZ RP has been meeting or exceeding its recruiting targets since 2022. The manpower issue now is inducting and training (as you suggested) all that additional manpower and dealing with the backlog of applicants.

Generał Kukuła also noted unanticipated expense levels with regard to maintenance of some recently-acquired kit - the FA-50 and Abrams being cited as specific examples.
