Piggott biplane (first contra-rotating propeller plane)

Some interesting info about the Piggott biplane, i.e. the first use of contra-rotating propeller (2 x four blades!). From Peter Lewis, British Aircraft 1808-1914, Putnam, 1962, page 394.

not the first use of co axial contra rotating props, Horatio Barber june 1909 very similar looking setup. Barber's machine had a gearbox just patented by Lanchester.

Aircraft With Contrarotating Props

You will find as attachment a listing (which I hope it should be fairly complete) of aircrafts with contrarotating props together with year of first flight. I edited a similar handwritten listing on post #2809 page 188 of "aircraft identification V" Should anybody find more types I have...
