Hi All,
Here are some photos of the finished IRMA Kit No. 5 CTA Heliconair HC-I (a) Convertiplano from the International Resin Modellers Association. This is the inital version based on the wind-tunnel model powered by the Armstrong-Siddley ASMD.1 Double-Mamba gas turbine and drawings supplied directly from the CTA. IRMA will be doing the second version, HC-I (b) powered by the Wright R-3350-DA3 18-cylinder radial-piston engine with the larger propellor blades and additional air intakes (similar to the drawings on here designated ITA CT-1) in 2013 to be followed by the last version, HC-II, powered by four General Electric G.E. T-58 gas-turbines positioned on the lift-wings.
