I recently stumbled across some unusual vehicle concepts created by the Russian artist Petr Miturich in the 1930s; attached is a drawing of a dirigible design of his, which appears to be inspired by a fish. He also designed a centipede-like amphibious terrestrial vehicle, among others. Unfortunately, there are few images of these concepts online; the one attached is from the MIT Libraries DOME, and they are highly restrictive about accessing the files, even in low resolution.
Do any of our Russian members have more information about Miturich and his organically-inspired vehicles? Or perhaps a US member near Cambridge, MA could try to gain access to the material; looks to be quite interesting.
Thanks,
Jared
