Panzer 68 with 140mm Test Gun

A friend of me make this Pictures in a Museum in Burgdorf Switzerland. First time i see a
Panzer 68 Chassis with a 140 mm gun. I think the gun is from RUAG, swiss weapons factory.

The caption for Massimo Foti's image reads: "Prototype with welded hull. Later used to test the 140 mm gun". I assume that means an original Pz 68 prototype?

I have not many information about this tank. But ist make sense that RUAG take a old chassis of a prototype.
