This will cause problems in two ways:

1) Shorter shootdown window;
2) Less time to scramble fighters on a target airbase.

Wonder was it used in this attack?

It would appear this new drone missile has already caused the Russians some serious problems. These drones may be behind the massive fire at a Russian oil-storage depot which they haven't been able to put out.

I wonder how long it will be before they develop a turbofan powered version?

Defense Updates has just put out a video about this new, kickers turbojet-powered drone:

Though deployed in various conflicts in recent years, notably in Nagorno-Karabakh (2020) and Syria (since 2011), drones have taken on a new dimension since the war in Ukraine was initiated by Russia on February 24, 2022.
The use of drones in Ukraine represents a steep change. Never before have so many drones been used in a military confrontation. These range from the very small – such as the Black Hornet which has a wingspan of only 12 cm – to pretty large ones like Bayraktar TB2 with wingspans of about 12 meters. Ukraine has now taken a concrete step in developing an interesting indigenous solution.
In this video, Defense Updates analyzes why Ukraine’s homegrown Palyanytsya UAV is a terrifying prospect for Russia?
