During the late '50s, the "Motorenfabrik Otto Wimmer made attempts to succeed as a manufacturer
of light aircraft. First negotiations were made for a license production of the Austrian Meindl M 211,
a single engined touring aircraft, but stopped after the decision to concentrate efforts on the Ka-10.
This was an own design for a twin engined touring aircraft, powered by two Continental engines with
90 hp, length of 6.96m, span 11.00m, empty weight 720kg and MTOW of 1300 kg. Expected max. speed
was 240 km/h and a range of 1200 km. Construction of the aircraft is said to have been started, but
never finished.
