Sources regarding esp. the M.148T requirement for carrier-based strike aircraft, which then resulted in the Blackburn Buccaneer, mention as one of the aircraft's weapons unguided rockets referred to as the OR.1099, where the "OR" abbreviation stands, as I understand, for 'operational requirement'.
I have made it to google only one relevant webpage containg a remark on the OR.1099 http://www.skomer.u-net.com/projects/reqs.htm. It says the there was such an operational requirement and it was for an air-to-ground rocket.
Do you have any idea what a weapon was conceived under the OR.1099? Any info would be appreciated (esp. pictures)...
Best regards,
Piotr
