This is the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott AZ) entry for the 2011 NASA N+2 Green Aircraft Challenge.

The challenge was for a 777-200LR equivalent, with reductions in noise, fuel burn, and emissions. The Embry-Riddle entry was to be powered by 4x25,000lb thrust ducted propfans while matching the 777-200LR range and payload numbers.

As the title already says, those designs are just notional, generally drawn as a degree dissertation or something
like that. That's why I moved the thread to this section.
