The primary advantage of that patent is that it reflects fan and engine noise upwards .. away from NIMBY listeners on the ground.
In comparison, modern airliner noise is primarily from engine fan noise reflected forwards.

Could be handy, if say you needed to drop into some village in Pakistan, say, as an example, I'm not picking on Pakistan. Also just on that, lets assume this is pretty quiet, but not silent.

Some drone 'noise makers' would be pretty handy, maybe sound like a high revving motorbike ? Giving you 30 seconds of cover....

I think there is more here than meets the eye. Speed is being met and so is range. What I also observe, footprint size of the aircraft, small. This bird I believe is Air Force Special Operations conducted from a naval vessel and flown for CIA operations. Also this platform, launch very small UAVs over fields of operations and targets of "interest".
