Am I the only one who spots the very short internal weapons bay? I think the stubby chin intake proposal with afterburners is the earliest to have been publicized.The Ukrainians did a lot of export business with China and I think the afterburner of the AI-222 might have been their own post-Soviet development. All the same, I’m not sure I see the point of proposals that essential replicate the M346/YAK-130 or the Chinese L-15? Moreover, if the whole point is to use the AI-222 or a derivative, is the engine plant or tooling still intact?
