Does anyone know what the C6N5 was intended to be? According to Wikipedia it was apparently a torpedo bomber development like the C6N1-B, but this is all it says. Was it perhaps developed from the C6N2 instead of the C6N1? If this is the case, I don't see the need for the high-altituded engine unless it is for traveling to the target only.
