I bought these two balsa wood waterline models at a collector's fair today. All I know is they were made by a Spanish collector and he said they were Russian.
I attach some bad phone photos (a bit like the ones that used to appear in 1960s Jane's Fighting Ships).
They look fictitious with one looking a bit like an Indian Delhi class. They both have tiny Helix helos aft.

I can't make them out reliably, new optics perhaps.

The first two pics are Project 11990 Anchar.
The second ship I can't make out, looks 2000s+ in style with its phased arrays and soild bulwarks.

Yup, first one is Anchar all right, the second model resembles a speculative CGI that was circulating a few years ago. I don't think it represents a real project.

Thanks chaps..Sorry about the photos. my mobile phone and me couldnt hack them.
Nice to know they have some basis in designs other than the modelmakers.

As said before, the older-looking one is definitely Project 11990 Anchar, a giant AAW CGN designed to escort the Ulyanovsk. The newer one seems fictional.
