Any idea what this is? (My guess would be the mysterious large-booster THAAD there was discussion about years ago.)

Scratch that. As I was writing this post I took another look at the site I got the pic from. THIS is "big booster THAAD" (I think):

That is not a trade show photo. I got it off a Chinese site. Am I the only person more than a little pissed at all the stuff they've gotten their hands on? The same site also had pictures of ATACMs mockups taken in the warehouse of the place that built them.

I haven't checked them all but many of the pictures came from the website of the mockup vendor. Triton posted a link to the vendor site in the ALHTK thread:

Here is Triton's link to the vendor:

Hmmm. That sounds like a gray area. We had a CNC vendor post a picture of a foam core mockup of a structure we build (nothing special) sitting in one of their CNCs they sold us and they posted it on their website. When it was discovered by somebody here the news went right to the top in minutes and the vendor had pulled the picture in a matter of hours.
Oh well. Maybe it's no big deal. On that topic though:

I agree with you, it's a grey area. The vendor would probably say the models are intended for trade shows which should require them to be "approved for public release". Therefore no disclosure issues. I would prefer there to be less details in some of these models, but that is me.

That does look like a THAAD KV on a two stage missile in your original post.
