Maybe I was too enthusiast. The basic idea was to augment the number of Titan III launches, not to replace the mixed fleet as a whole (keep Delta, Atlas, Scout and others)
To augment the number of Titan launches let's try these options
- Titan III B /E hybrid, a competitor to Ariane 1-4 through a private venture (an american Arianespace)
- Titan III for manned flight (a space station need 4-8 flight per year)
Is that enough to low the cost of Titan III ?
