So this is an idea I had roughly a decade ago now.
I was going to link to the original topic I made on the concept on the WoWS forums, but I guess that forum site is completely gone now.
So what I imagined, was something similar to an LPD, but instead of landing craft it would carry FAC/FIAC.
Now Iran’s new ‘carrier’ takes my idea and ramps the concept up to 12 or 15.
I viewed it as operating 2-4 helos, and 4-8 FIAC, or 2-4 FACs
