-Also Lybia: it surprised me how linked were Arab air forces back then, passing Mirages (and other military stuff) from each others.

And then they got neither Mirages nor Phantoms but had to soldier on with Lightnings and F-5s until... the early 1980's, when the arm buyout porn and orgy started.

-Could have helped the Mirage 4000 some years later (sigh).
