It is full of WW2 designs and projects - far in advance of the Putnam and the fullest coverage you could ever get. Should be of interest to many folk on the forum I think. There is a CD with Appendices which includes (I think) the X-series. It is NOT cheap, but if it your thing there is nothing better!!

Not to mention the only photograph I've ever seen of the M52 prototype during assembly, not the mock up, but the actual aircraft.

Dated November 45, it shows the first fuselage frame being loaded into the assembly jig.
