I have spend a very long time seeking for information and data on engines used by MiG-15s and MiG-17s family and I could not find information on their spool up rate. I used google search engines and yet haven't found any information. I also used search in this forum and there is no information on what I am looking for either. I am wondering if one of you have great information on jet engine that give information about spool up rate, the amount of time engine response from idling to maximum thrust on ground and air. These following MiG-15 and MiG-17s engine spool up rate I am looking are:
Klimov VK-1 turbojet
Klimov VK-1F afterburning turbojet
Information and data on these engine's spool up will be much appreciated.
