Another Mil connection with British Columbia was Kelowna Flightcraft's involvement with the Mi-17KF Kittiwake - a westernized 'Hip H' with BAE-supplied avionics, glass cockpit, radar nose, and rear ramp. I've read that a prototype was flown (perhaps just the avionics upgrade?) but have never found a solid confirmation.
