Canadian Mi-10 Order?
Okanagan Helicopters will decide this spring whether or not it will order a Russian Mi-10 helicopter.

Now that would have been an awesome sight!

Interestingly enough, France tested one Mi-6 for firefighting the same year 1967. It ended in tragedy when the chopper crashed.

Another Mil connection with British Columbia was Kelowna Flightcraft's involvement with the Mi-17KF Kittiwake - a westernized 'Hip H' with BAE-supplied avionics, glass cockpit, radar nose, and rear ramp. I've read that a prototype was flown (perhaps just the avionics upgrade?) but have never found a solid confirmation.
