I'd also be interested in the source as the M-24 screams "model me". Any more info? Thanks anyway - fascinating stuff :)
 
All these designs are absolutely fascinating, Maveric, thanks a lot for these rarities!

(The M234 looks like the illegitimate child of a Piaggio Avanti and a Beechcraft King Air...)
 
I have the scans for some time, but I do not remember the source. It was a small booklet of Keimel , the well-known authors.
 
Identical drawings of the M.211 and M.222 layouts appear in the booklet Osterreichs Luftfahrt in Einzeldarstellungen Band 1 - Propeller-Luftfahrzeug-konstruktionen seit 1945 by Reinhard Keimal (ISBN 3900310025) published by Weishaupt Verlag in 1980.

It also has the M.150 in that volume.

I'm pretty sure we once had a topic on this forum for the M 150 Schulmeister, R-100 Meghdoot-1, R-101 Meghbir, etc.

Can someone find them, or are they somehow lost to this forum's bizarre black hole that seems to swallow up certain topics?
 
If anyone could suggest where to search for more info about the Meindl M-24 (Harbich Ha-27) sailplane pictured above,
it would be most appreciated. I've spent quite a while fishing around on the Austrian G**gle site with no luck (my German isn't too bad so I don't think I missed anything obvious).

I'm guessing it was conceived as an aerobatic sailplane and as such is crying out to be modelled....

How many were actually flown?
I am especially curious about the M-20 and assymetric M-19.
 
The following four projects by engineer Meindl were created in the 1970s in Beilngries (Oberpfalz/Germany) and were the last currently known works by Meindl. They were created for or in collaboration with Otto Rücker. The construction was to take place in the workshops of Erhard Krüger in Beilngries. Wilhelm van Nes was again hired for the calculations.

In the name of the projects, the first figures for the year, the third for the project number:
701 = 1970 Projekt 1
722 = 1972 Projekt 2
723 = 1972 Projekt 3
764 = 1976 Projekt 4
 
The Rücker-Meindl R.701 was a very attractive four-seater twin-engine touring aircraft that was under construction until 1974, but then had to be abandoned.

The following R.722 was a two-seater touring aircraft with pressure screw drive and two tail girders, which did not meet the expectations of the client and was further developed into the R.723...

The design R.723 did not satisfy the client Otto Rücker in any way and the project was dropped in favor of the further construction of the R.701. A Continental C.90 was used as the drive.

After the abandonment of the R.701 project, Meindl was again assigned by Otto Rücker in 1976 for a new four-seater touring aircraft. Health problems at Meindl delayed the work, they had to be interrupted several times. Meindl dealt with the R.764 until his death. However, it was not built. Engine: 4-cylinder engine with 2-blade propeller, length 9.60 meters, height 2.35 meters, empty mass 672 kilograms, take-off mass 1140 kilograms, range approx. 2000 kilometers.
