One of the many intriguing entries for the (then) American Helicopter Society's annual competition for graduate aero-engineering students. Each year one of the prime rotorcraft companies sponsors the competition and provides a mock requirements document for the students to respond to. This last year I believe the requirement was for a high altitude SAR rotorcraft.

FYI the American Helicopter Society has become the Vertical Flight Society in recognition of the significant presence (and sponsorship) of foreign rotorcraft parties.
