I'm stunned to find out that, unless several searches failed to work properly, there is no thread for the Martin "EGRESS" (EMERGENCY GLOBAL RESCUE, ESCAPE, AND SURVIVAL SYSTEM) capsule. This was a modification of the ejection capsule used on the B-58... fitted with a heat shield, de-orbit motor and attitude control thrusters, it could be used up to orbit, with the ability to protect one or two crewmen through re-entry.

The best thing about EGRESS was this little detail in the concept art...

I've always wondered what it looked like. Seems a bit more than a modification given it's side-by-side instead of single seat though.

Dudes have big KSP energy in those expressions also.

Words can not express the gratitude I have for this artist. He captured such realistic emotion to a space SNAFU. OOC how did this program relate to MOOSE ?

I lifted and modified that line from a Phil Hendrie skit. He did a voice of a TSA man and the...um...'slow' trainee who would get electric shocks if he failed to see the test-bomb in the scan:

"Uh-oh"
"Yes it's the uh-oh...you know what happens if you miss detecting this bomb?"

ZZZt "Ow!"

Then Phil would take calls from outraged saps.

Another bail-out
