Early in the design process of the C.102 Jetliner, Avro Canada studied a turboprop variation for Trans-Canada Airlines powered by four Armstrong-Siddeley Mambas. I've seen no drawings of this variant so the following is highly conjectural.

A contemporary AJ.65-powered C.102 study featured a through-spar arrangement for the engines.

In light of this layout, it seems probable that the Mamba-powered version also had through-spar engines (to gain more propeller clearance among other reasons).

If anyone has any more details about the Mamba-powered C.102 concept, I'd very much like to hear about it.
