Majorette Hermes Space Shuttle Toy

Hi,

just rediscovered in my shed a Majorette toy from the 80's? It did come on a fairly basic low-loader. I think I purchased 2 of them at the time at pocket money price in a general store. Only a couple of inches long. Pop out wings presumably so the transport vehicle it was on could drive down streets? Has any body else ever put a toy out of Hermes?

Oh yes, I had it 30 years ago ! It came with a truck, hence the two small rectangular holes: to clip it. But... it wasn't white like that, I remember it had markings SPACE SHUTTLE.

It's possible I peeled them off as I probably was going to paint it - never got around to that!

At some point I think I glued the Shuttle on the rocket. And it looked awesome. This was in the early 1990's, before Hermes death in November 1992. It was everywhere in magazines.

The Ariane 1 look-alike also got some color variations.
