Looking For Air Launched ICBM Platforms

Has there been any dedicated proposed platforms for air launched ICBMs, especially optimized for long patrols? I remember one proposed plane that had a long Stratolaunchesque wingspan, that was maybe proposed at the end of the cold war. Thanks if you can tell me what plane I was thinking of.

Since submarine-launched ballistic missiles or SLBMs are shorter compared to their land-based ICBM counterparts, would it be easier for the Boeing 747 or C-5 Galaxy to carry the Polaris / Poseidon / Trident SLBM instead of the Minuteman / Peacekeeper ICBM?
