Lokking for more infos about the Avro Z-59 "British Pluto" Missile

Hi All,

I have bought the new Avro Z-59 (or W-59) missile kit from S&M models in 1/72 scale;

I would like to know if more infos are available on this project as the only infos I have come from the excellent book "Vulcan's Hammer". I mean a small drawing and a picture showing the machine in flight.

This is about all I found on Z-59, it's from John Allen's collection in the RAF Museum Hendon. I had to research the ramjet elsewhere.

There's nowt at Avro Heritage unless they've turned something up recently.

Hi All,

Many Thanks for the pictures. The S&M kit is similar to the Avro drawings.

I would like to find a cross section drawing showing the interior (especially the ramjet).

Regarding the color scheme, I think that I can inspire myself from the Vought Pluto, Gold plated missile and titanium ramjet.
